College learners support Utopia salon launch

Utopia Hair, a salon in Brampton, held a launch party earlier this month following a re-style of its own.

Salon owner, Claire Sawford, was joined by staff and clients for a champagne reception.

Among the invited guests were Zoe Parker and Fay Burroughs, an Apprentice and a work experience student, respectively, both of whom attend Huntingdonshire Regional College.

Claire said: “We work very closely with local colleges to help develop bright new stylists.

“Zoe and Fay are wonderful people, a credit to HRC and valuable members of Team Utopia.”

Zoe added: “There was a great turnout for the launch and the salon looks lovely.

“I really enjoy working for Claire.”

Michelle Gregory, Photography learner at HRC, was on hand to capture images of the event which were via Utopia’s website and Facebook page to promote the launch.

She said: “It was a wonderful experience to photograph Utopia’s launch and I wish them well for the future.”
