Pre-loved Prom puts second-hand fashion in the spotlight

Learners at Huntingdonshire Regional College took the catwalk to showcase ‘pre-loved’ evening and prom fashion, supplied by Huntingdon Together Charity Shop.

Tickets were available to the public and the event raised £82 for Huntingdon Volunteer Centre.

The show, held at the College in March, featured Creative Industries learners modelling creative and unique clothing designs whilst Hair & Beauty learners worked backstage help complete their catwalk look.

Kaitlinn Fairbairn, an Art & Design learner at HRC, said: “It was fun and I enjoyed dressing up in the lovely prom dresses.”

The event was promoted by HRC learners completing work experience placements at Huntingdon Together who created leaflets and posters.

All clothing and accessories worn at the Pre-loved Prom are now available to purchase at the Huntingdon Together Shop in the town centre.
